Ohio State announced early Wednesday evening that all voluntary workouts on-campus have been paused following the results of its most recent COVID-19 testing of student-athletes.
Seven teams' workouts have been impacted by what OSU is calling a "pause" of the workouts.
Those programs are men's and women's basketball, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, and football.
The University is not sharing cumulative COVID-19 information publicly because it could lead to the identification of specific individuals and violate their respective rights to medical privacy.
Those student-athletes who have tested positive for COVID-19 will self-isolate for at least 14 days and receive daily check-ups from the athletic department's medical staff.
