Ohio State hosted a number of top prospects from across the nation this past Saturday in its win over Penn State.
One of the recruits who made the trek up to see the Buckeyes in action was 2024 linebacker Vincent Shavers from Monsignor Pace High School in Miami. Shavers is teammates with 5 star defensive end and current 2022 Ohio State target Shemar Stewart.
Shavers, who isn’t currently ranked by any recruiting services, said that he enjoyed his time in Columbus on Saturday.
“I loved the game Saturday and I loved the environment,” he said.
This was Shavers first time on campus, and it was the first time that he had the chance to interact with the coaches and athletes, which he enjoyed.
“It was great to meet the coaches and players,” he said.
Shavers, who hasn’t been offered by Ohio State yet, holds offers from schools such as Florida, Florida State, Miami and Georgia. However, he will be on the radar for Ohio State going forward.
