Arvell Reese Not Resting On His Ohio State Offer

COLUMBUS – Ohio State football camp season used to mean Cleveland Glenville season at Ohio State and after a few lean years it appears that is the case once again as Ted Ginn Sr. brought a busload of players to the Tuesday camp.

Players have already seen places like Alabama, Alabama A&M, Tennessee and Tennessee State and have stops at Michigan and Toledo still on the tour but today was all about Ohio State and for players like 2023 linebacker Arvell Reese, an offer was already in hand and today was a chance to put in work for the coaches and show that he has not rested on that offer.

It was a hot day at Ohio State and drills were moved off the turf fields to the grass fields due to dangerous temperatures but that did not slow down players like Reese from showing their abilities.

The terms “tweener” is already being used by some for Reese but the Buckeyes have a plan for Reese already, should he stay in-state and commit.

“They see me as an inside linebacker and off the edge on third down,” Reese said.

The book on Reese is that he still has a lot of work to do to become the football player that many believe that he can become, and he is aware that he has a lot of work still to do but you can start to see flashes when you watch his game, and he is stringing those good moments along more and more.

Maybe that is why he already has more than two-dozen offers and counting.

We caught up with Reese after the Tuesday camp to get his thoughts, what his plans are in the near future and when official visits could be coming as many other players have made June the month for official visits.

Check out what else Reese had to say.
