Five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers is leaning towards graduating high school a year early and enrolling at Ohio State in time for fall camp next week.

Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr host an emergency podcast to discuss what this means for Ewers, why he is leaning this way, and what this means for the Buckeyes.

  1. I don’t think it will be a huge issue because Ewers isn’t coming in to start this year imo.

Great show & it’s crazy this is even a possibility. If Ewers leaves TX, is it for sure OSU or does he head to IMG? I assume FLA allows NIL for H.S. kids?
It sure sounds like the plan is for him to be in Columbus. That gives him a head start on learning the playbook and working with Ryan Day and Corey Dennis, and puts him in the best possible position to compete for the starting job in 2022 and 2023.
