Ohio State head coach Ryan Day met with reporters on Tuesday to discuss his football team and answer questions about Saturday’s upcoming matchup with Penn State.

Day shared some injury news and also discussed quarterback CJ Stroud, among other things. Also speaking with reporters were Jeremy Ruckert, Haskell Garrett, Nicholas Petit-Frere, and Tyreke Smith.

Following the session, Tom Orr and Tony Gerdeman sat down to recap everything that was said and share their thoughts on what it all meant.

  • The Ohio State defense is more confident and it’s showing.
  • Nicholas Petit-Frere is the nicest guy in the world.
  • Jeremy Ruckert is the world’s first quiet Long Islander.
  • What can stop the Ohio State offense?

The fellas discuss all of this and much more.

I want to see how we perform against a very good PSU pass defense. Their run defense isn’t the same with the loss of a very good D tackle in Mustipher, but that pass defense has been great all season.
Yep. Let’s see how pinpoint Stroud is this weekend.
