On Wednesday afternoon, five-star athlete Treyaun Webb from Jacksonville Trinity Christian announced his top three schools, and to no surprise, the Buckeyes made the cut.

Webb will choose between Ohio State, Georgia and Oklahoma in August on CBS Sports, per his announcement.

Webb visited Ohio State for two days in early June and got the opportunity to see the facilities and work out with coach Tony Alford. He told Buckeye Scoop after his visit that he loved his time working with Alford.

“It was great, I got to know him more as a coach and person,” he said. “He taught me a lot, I enjoyed every minute of it.”

He also got the opportunity to spend some time with his close friend Marcus Crowley, the former Trinity Christian running back and current Ohio State running back. The two played Madden and hung out while he was there.

He also told Buckeye Scoop that he didn’t want to leave and that the family atmosphere is what he enjoyed the most at Ohio State.

Ohio State hopes that Webb will be the next star athlete from Jacksonville Trinity Christian to join the Buckeyes.
