    The Terps managed to miss the Buckeyes last season due to a COVID cancellation, keeping the all-time series record between these two teams at 6-0. The last time these two teams played, the Buckeyes were looking to answer for a 52-51 overtime win the previous years and erase all doubts about their dominance over the conference, and that reply came to the tune of 73-14. Plus, there were some other things being whispered about between the Buckeyes and Terps that may have led to the flattening of the turtle, but that is neither here nor there.

    We now fast forward back to today and the 2021 edition of this game. The Terps are coming off of a thrashing at the hands of Iowa while the Buckeyes delivered a similar style spanking to Rutgers. Is Maryland more like the 4-0 team that went into the Iowa game or more like the one that exited the contest? What about Ohio State? Has Ohio State solved its issues or was Rutgers not nearly the team that people felt that it was?
