    The 2021-22 regular season did not come to a kind end for the Ohio State Men’s Basketball team as dreams of a potential share of a Big Ten title faded into hopes for a double bye in the upcoming conference tournament and then evaporated into a No. 6 seed in the upcoming event.



    If Ohio State can navigate its first game of the event, a date with Purdue inside the state of Indiana would await the Buckeyes on Friday.



    Nothing has been easy this year for the Buckeyes or anyone in the Big Ten however with conference co-champions Wisconsin and Illinois each sitting with five league losses. The Buckeyes finished the season 12-8 in league play with the team seeing three games get away down the stretch with losses to Maryland, Nebraska and Michigan pushing Ohio State from a potential share of a league title to an unfavorable draw.
