The hunt for a class of 2023 quarterback is over as the Buckeyes have found their guy in Memphis (Tenn.) signal caller Brock Glenn. Ohio State ended up beating out finalists Florida State, TCU, Auburn and LSU for his pledge.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound four star from Lausanne College School held close to three dozen offers and seemed to be destined to stay in the south but the Buckeyes kept working hard on the talented quarterback prospect and ultimately won out over everyone else.
Ohio State had been in an odd position of having a class of 2024 quarterback commit in Dylan Raiola but not one in 2023. With Raiola being the top prospect in the class of 2024, the thought was that it might scare away any prospective 2023 quarterbacks knowing what was waiting in the wings, but that was not the case for Glenn.
