The Buckeyes are on the verge of extending the contracts of multiple head coaches including Ryan Day and Chris Holtmann as extensions have been worked out and now just await approval from the Board of Trustees per a release from Ohio State on Wednesday.

Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day will see a near two-million-dollar bump in addition to his two-year extension. This will keep Day under contract through the 2028 season and will see his compensation increase from 7.6 million to right around 9.5 million dollars.

Under Day, the Buckeyes are 34-4 including a 23-1 mark in the Big Ten as the Buckeyes have won a pair of Big Ten Championships as well as a pair of trips to the College Football Playoffs and one appearance in the CFP Championship Game.

Chris Holtmann will add three years to his deal which will keep him in the fold through the 2027-28 season and will see a raise of 500-thousand dollars, raising his total salary to 3.5 million per season with a base of...
