    GREENWOOD, Ind. — As Ohio State continues to evaluate its 2022 quarterback options, one prospect the Buckeyes will be keeping a close eye on this fall is Center Grove (IN) star Tayven Jackson.
    The 6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect kicked off his junior season on Friday night, throwing a couple of touchdown passes in a 56-14 win over Decatur Central.
    “All glory to God for giving us the opportunity to come out here and play as a team,” Jackson said after the game. “I think things went really well. We only had a week to game plan, we didn’t know who we were playing (until earlier in the week) but we found a game and I feel like we did really good.”
    Ohio State has offered Center Grove defensive lineman Caden Curry, but the Buckeyes are also getting to know Jackson well.
    “I talk to Ohio State every week,” he said. “They wished me well (in the opener) and we talk about recruiting and life. I ask them a lot of questions.”
