COLUMBUS – While everyone who follows Ohio State recruiting has their own wish list one of the most common names for Buckeyes fans is wide receiver Carnell Tate.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder out of IMG Academy in Bradenton (Fla.) is a consensus five-star, the No. 21 player in the nation according to the 247 Sports Consensus Rankings and just the type of player that makes a difference with any team that he is a part of.
One team that he makes a big difference for is the South Florida Express team, one of the premiere 7-on-7 teams in the nation and Tate took part in a trip to Ohio State over the course of the weekend to check things out and really see some things that he had not had a chance to witness in his previous handful of visits to Ohio State.
Tate has visited during the summer for camp and other times but getting a chance to see a practice run by the Buckeyes was very important as he continues to work towards making a decision with a who’s who of colleges...
