BARGERSVILLE, Indiana — The lack of a Spring Evaluation Period or a college camp season will place an added emphasis on junior film this fall as the Buckeyes begin to shape their recruiting boards for the 2022 class.
One player is already beginning to emerge as a top target for the Buckeyes and defensive line coach Larry Johnson, however, in Greenwood (IN) Center Grove product Caden Curry.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound prospect has seen an uptick in interest from Ohio State recently.
“The last couple of months has really picked things up (with Ohio State),” Curry told BuckeyeScoop.com during an in-person interview on Monday. “I’ve been talking to coach (Ryan) Day about once a week. September 1st is when they can start calling me and I don’t have to be calling them so hopefully we’ll keep building an even greater relationship.”
As with many top targets, the Ohio State staff has been using technology as much as possible to make up for the absence of visits.
