    Ohio State redshirt freshman safety Andre Turrentine entered the transfer portal a week ago and on Monday he announced that he has committed to Tennessee.

    The landing spot is not a huge surprise given that Turrentine is a Tennessee native. He attended Ensworth High School in Nashville.

    Turrentine redshirted last year while playing in his allotted four games.

    This spring he was an active presence, especially in Ohio State’s spring game where he played over 100 snaps at strong safety.

    Turrentine signed with Ohio State as a four-star prospect in the 2021 class and the No. 6 player overall in the state of Tennessee. As a junior in 2019 he led Ensworth to the state semifinals, finishing the year with 73 tackles, 248 yards receiving, and two touchdowns...
