Former Ohio State safety Bryson Shaw is transferring to USC. His father broke the news Sunday afternoon.

Shaw entered the transfer portal during Ohio State’s spring camp.
Despite starting last season as a backup, Shaw was thrust into the Ohio State starting lineup in week three following a season-ending injury to starting free safety Josh Proctor. Shaw finished third on the Buckeyes with 59 tackles last year and tied for second with one interception.
Shaw redshirted as a true freshman in 2019 and will still have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
