At the end of a remarkable and unprecedented season, the Ohio State Buckeyes fell just one win short of a national championship, losing to Alabama, 52-24.

Ohio State was missing several key players due to COVID-19 protocols, and then lost star running back Trey Sermon to an injury on his first carry of the night.

The Buckeyes kept things close until the mid-point of the second quarter, trailing only 21-17 when the Crimson Tide really started to roll.
