The Ohio State Buckeyes kicked off their 2021 fall football camp on Wednesday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Ryan Day’s third full season in charge brings some major changes to the program, as a trio of young quarterbacks opened fall camp with a combined zero career passing attempts, but a lot of recruiting hype. CJ Stroud, Jack Miller, and Kyle McCord practiced Wednesday, and will soon be joined by Quinn Ewers, the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2022 who recently reclassified to 2021 and will enroll at OSU soon.
There was a surprise as practice opened with Miyan Williams and not Master Teague taking the first-team snaps at running back.
At wide receiver, an elite core of returning talent including Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were joined by a healthy Julian Fleming and three promising freshmen, Emeka Egbuka, Marvin Harrison, Jr., and Jayden Ballard.
