Look, I’m not going to sugarcoat this, it is brutal to preview a game and then
have that game not take place. Chip Minnich and I are among the many folks who
look forward to The Game every college football season, so it was even worse
to see the Michigan game called off than when the Maryland or Illinois games
were canceled.
Chip and I discuss the loss of the 2020 edition of The Game, before checking
out the rest of the Big Ten slate and briefly discussing the stupidity of
getting mad at the Big Ten for changing its arbitrary six-game rule and the
possibility of getting into the College Football Playoff after playing fewer
games than other teams that played and lost (in some cases to bad teams).
We talk about the upcoming Big Ten Championship Weekend match-ups, some of
which have already been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns (never forget that
2020 is terrible), including one cancellation that renders any mock outrage at
the B1G changing its six-game rule completely moot.
