The Ohio State Buckeyes wasted no time putting the Michigan State Spartans away, flexing their offensive muscles and racing out to a 49-0 lead before allowing the visitors to dent the scoreboard. Along the way, Kenneth Walker III all but exited the Heisman Trophy conversation thanks to a strong showing by the OSU defensive line and the offense turning the game into a track meet. Chip Minnich and I discuss the surprisingly easy game and look back at our predictions and our picks to click from the match-up. We also applaud the nickname Earth, Wind & Fire for the OSU starting wide receivers, wonder if Julian Fleming gets to be “Water” after his touchdown catch, and lament the fact that we only get to use it for a short time before Olave and Wilson depart for Sunday football.
