    The Buckeyes have more irons in the fire than usual at this late stage of the recruiting calendar. On Sunday afternoon, Ohio State was able to land one of its long-time top targets in Duncanville (Texas) defensive end Omari Abor. The Top 100 prospect gave Ohio State his commitment during a live ceremony at the Under Armour All-American game in Florida.

    Abor’s commitment caps off a defensive ends class that will rank among the nation’s very best as he joins South Florida star Kenyatta Jackson Jr. as well as Indiana’s Caden Curry to round out a formidable trio of future pass rushers for the Buckeyes.

    The Buckeyes had no shortage of competition in their pursuit of Abor. Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M were all linked to the big-time pass rusher at various points with the Buckeyes most recently fending off Alabama and Texas for his services.
