Evaluating the class of 2022 has been a bit challenging after a strange past 12 months. Despite those challenges, the BuckeyeScoop.com staff was still able to get out to see many of Ohio’s top class of 2022 prospects during the fall and into the winter. With that in mind, recruiting analysts Bill Greene and Marc BuckeyeScoop.com are updating their Ohio rankings and expanding them from a Top 15 to a Top 30.
The two named a new number one in Kettering Alter linebacker C.J. Hicks who moved up two spots after taking a strong summer camp performance last summer and turning that into a more productive year as a junior than he had as a sophomore.
Huber Heights Wayne offensive tackle Aamil Wagner made a big jump into the Top 10 and Medina quarterback Drew Allar continued his move up, going from just outside the Top 10 before the season, to the number nine spot after an excellent junior year.
