COLUMBUS, OHIO — With Brian Hartline as the wide receiver coach at Ohio State, the Buckeyes have been on a hot streak of landing some of the top receivers in the nation, and Hartline is looking to do that again in 2023.

This year, however, it will be a tall task to pull five-star American Heritage (FL) standout Brandon Inniss out of the South and up to Columbus. But that won’t stop the Buckeyes from trying. Inniss and some of his South Florida Express 7-on-7 teammates were in attendance at Ohio State’s camp this week and he got to work with Hartline the whole time. The group stayed overnight as well and got to tour Ohio State’s campus the following day.

Buckeye Scoop caught up with Inniss after the camp to discuss the camp experience and working with Hartline.

“It was very cool, just to get to talk to Coach Hartline and just experience what he’s like, what he’s been through in the NFL and college, and things like that,” Inniss said. “He shows what he has learned already and he tells us that, so for him coming from the NFL and teaching us is just a blessing.”

Aside from talking about his recruitment, Inniss also put on a show during the actual camp. He dominated 1-on-1s with quickness, route-running ability, and tremendous hands. You can also find Inniss’ camp highlights at the link below on the Buckeye Scoop YouTube Channel.
