Ever since landing the pledge of Jacksonville (Fla.) Lee star Jaheim Singletary back in January, Ohio State has been trying to hold on to that commitment as a slew of programs from around the nation, but mostly in the Southeastern part of the country, continued to pursue the five-star talent.
Singletary made his official visit to Ohio State back in June but has also made visits elsewhere to programs like Georgia and Miami (Fla.). So it came without much surprise on Sunday evening that Singletary is formally opening up his recruiting process. Singletary posted the news on his Twitter account.
It is expected that Ohio State will stay in the picture for Singletary, considered by some to be the nation’s top cornerback in the 2022 recruiting class. Georgia, Florida, Florida State, and Miami (Fla.) are just some of the programs that have continued to recruit Singletary in recent months.
Ohio State still has four defensive back prospects committed in its 2022 class with Terrance Brooks, Jyaire Brown, Kye Stokes, and Ryan Turner in the fold.
