Hickman, Smith-Njigba & Stroud To Rep Ohio State At Media Days

Big Ten Football Media Days are rapidly approaching and we now know who will be joining Ohio State head coach Ryan Day in Indianapolis for the two-day event. CJ Stroud, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Ronnie Hickman will be Ohio State’s three player reps for the year event, a true kick off to the start of the upcoming season.

The event will take place on July 26th and July 27th from the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Buckeyes will be part of the second day of action, joining a list including Illinois, Michigan State, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin. The other seven teams will take the field on the 26th.

While much of the Ohio State focus will be on bouncing back after a season that did not see the team take part in the annual conference championship game, there will be plenty of talk about conference expansion as well after the news of the addition of USC and UCLA to the B1G shocked the college football world.

Of course, none of these players will be playing college football when either of the two new teams will be taking part in competition. There is a good chance that a coach or three within the conference may not see the move either, Ryan Day excluded, of course.

We will have plenty of happenings from the Circle City once Media Days are here, be sure to mark your calendars for the rightful countdown to kickoff for the college football season.
