Some shocking news broke Sunday evening when former Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley announced that he had accepted the USC job.

The fallout was immediate for the Sooners, who saw multiple highly-ranked players decommit in a matter of hours. Can Ohio State take advantage of Oklahoma’s loss and add even more talent to their 2022 and 2023 classes?

Buckeye Scoop recruiting analyst Marc Givler joins host Tom Orr to break down what this could all mean for Ohio State.

  • Are elite 2023 offensive skill players Treyaun Webb and Brandon Inniss back in play for the Buckeyes?
  • How will this impact the recruitments of 2022 stars like Hero Kanu, Earnest Greene, and Zion Branch? Will USC suddenly become more of a threat?
  • What about 2022 QB Devyn Brown, who recently decommitted from the Trojans? Could he reconsider, or is Ohio State still one of the favorites to land him?

  1. I’m sure there is more than one reason for Riley moving to USC but I think one big one is he doesn’t want to coach in the SEC.
