One of the top 2022 prospects in the East Coast, as well as nationally, is Williamstown (NJ) athlete Keon Sabb. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder, who plays defensive back and receiver in high school, holds around 30 offers, including from some of the best programs in America.
Ohio State joined that group on Monday night, becoming Sabb’s latest offer. The talented prospect announced the news on Twitter, saying “Blessed to receive an offer from Ohio State University”. He then spoke with Buckeye Scoop about the offer.
“I’m excited,” Sabb said. “I spoke with Coach Matt Barnes. He told me about the school, their life after football program, and the program expectations. He said they like my size, speed, and athleticism.”
Sabb wasn’t ready to say where Ohio State stands on his list, as it’s early in the process, but he likes how they develop talent for the next level.
“I’m looking to get to know them, visit the school, and watch a game live there,” he explained. “I like how they produce a ton of NFL talent.”
The Buckeyes are recruiting Sabb as a safety.
