Notes From Ryan Day’s Press Conference Aug. 22

Head coach, Ryan Day, met with reporters on Monday to discuss the closing of fall camp and to discuss the matchup with Notre Dame, and the beginning of the season.

Ryan Day thinks Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau both had very good camps and Day also feels it was good for them to play last year. He says they are bigger this year, more experienced, and they will have “great seasons.” He said they are both big and they complement each other well being dominant players on both sides of the line.

Day says the defense is playing with great confidence and they feel ready to go for game week. He thinks Knowles is tailoring his scheme to the group he has at Ohio State and they are fine-tuning how to calibrate everything towards their skill sets. He also said the corners are getting closer to getting back to full strength and they are feeling “good” about it..
