The Big Ten announced on Tuesday that Ohio State’s home game against Nebraska that was originally postponed January 22 has been rescheduled for March 1.

The game is set for a Tuesday night tip-off at 7:00 pm and will be aired on BTN.

The original game was postponed due to COVID issues within the Nebraska program.

The new schedule finds the Nebraska game scheduled between a Sunday trip to Maryland and a Thursday home tilt against Michigan State.

The Buckeyes will play four games over the final eight days of the Big Ten schedule.

So far, no date has been set for Ohio State’s game against Iowa that was postponed February 3. There is no room to reschedule that game inside of those eight days without making the Buckeyes play on back-to-back nights.

There is also no room currently on Iowa’s existing schedule to fit OSU in without one team playing back-to-back nights.

Teams must play at least 25 games this year to be eligible for the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes are currently at 19 games played (14-5) with at minimum 10 more games currently scheduled.
