Ohio State starting cornerback Sevyn Banks is a game-time decision for today’s game against Michigan State and veteran running back Master Teague is expected back after missing last week and three of the last four games.
Freshman receiver and starting kick returner Emeka Egbuka is also out this week.
Linebacker Palaie Gaoteote will be held out for this game as well.
If Banks can’t go, the Buckeyes will likely start Cameron Brown and Denzel Burke. Burke has started every game this year and Brown has essentially played like a starter when healthy as he and Banks have rotated quite a bit on the field this season.
Michigan State will likely be missing starting receiver Jalen Nailor for a third-straight game, which should make Banks’ absence easier to handle.
With Teague back it will be interesting to see if he can crack what was a successful rotation of TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams last week when the two of them combined for 215 yards rushing on 27 carries.
Teague has rushed for 136 yards on 28 carries in his career against the Spartans.
