As the Ohio State football season approaches, there’s little cause for outright worry about Ryan Day’s talented team. But that’s not to say that there aren’t any concerns. In this week’s episode, Chip Minnich and I discuss the position groups that have us a little apprehensive entering the 2021 college football season. Some of these may end up being issues that last all season but they could all just as easily end up being fine.

We started out with the main positional group that concerns us and then branch out into other areas of the team. We also have zero concerns about several position groups and we tell you what those are as well, although we doubt you need to be told which ones those are. You are, after all, a Buckeye Scoop reader.

Following our positional concerns, we discuss the latest new Buckeye to lose his black stripe and run down the full list from this class so far. Plus, we talk about Buckeye happenings in the NFL. Some of those are bad and some are good, but there’s plenty of news.

Next week we’ll be breaking down the teams in the Big Ten West, and the week after we’ll turn our attention to the B1G East as we’re back in our usual season preview mode and back to a weekly show every week from now through the end of Ohio State’s season. It won’t be long before our first game preview!

If you’ve got something you’d like to ask us in our mailbag section, hit us up
on Twitter at @Mike36fan and @ChipMinnich and answers will be provided on the next episode.

Enjoy this week’s show. Thanks for listening.
