Chip and I are back after a bit of a summer hiatus and it’s a pity there’s nothing to talk about, but we managed. The big news, of course, is the reclassification of Quinn Ewers and his early entry into the program at Ohio State. What does not having that extra year of separation mean? Could he win the starting job in a month? Can Ryan Day hang onto all or some of his young, talented quarterbacks? Day will have to do some of his best recruiting just to hang onto more than two of his current signal callers. We take a look at the ramifications of Ewers’ decision and how it could impact the Buckeyes both this season and moving forward, and some of the things Day might do to keep as many quarterbacks happy as possible.

What do you think will happen? Will a quarterback transfer this year? Will two? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Realignment is another hot topic of the day and suddenly the SEC looks like it’s growing into an even larger monster than it was. Must the Big Ten “keep pace?” What are the options? Is there any value in standing pat for now? Chip and I dive into the possibilities, probabilities, and potential future landscape of the Big Ten.

Should the Big Ten expand just to expand? What schools do you think would want to join? Is some kind of merger or alliance with the Pac-12 the most likely outcome?
