Stebbins Athlete Adrian Norton Breaks Down Second Visit To Ohio State This Fall

COLUMBUS – When it comes to Ohio prospects, Ohio State and its recruiting department leave no stone unturned. For any prospect within the state lines, the Buckeyes will exhaust all options trying to figure out if they can help Ohio State on the field.

One prospect that they are looking at closely is 2023 Stebbins (OH) athlete Adrian Norton who leads the Miami Valley League outside of Dayton in receiving yards. The 6-foot-1 and 190-pound athlete has blazing speed, sure hands, and most importantly the ability to play all over the field.

Norton has visited Ohio State twice this fall. Once for the Oregon game and then again for Saturday’s Penn State game, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him.

“The whole entire atmosphere was absolutely insane, it was crazy,” said Norton

He did not go through the gameday experience alone though. Ohio State also invited his teammate — 2024 offensive lineman Jake Wheelock. And according to Norton, the Buckeyes have a serious interest in both.

“Originally I had gotten the invite first and then they watched a couple of our games and they liked Jake. So we can get a two for one, that would be awesome. So that’s how it really came about,” said Norton.

Due to a parking situation, Norton was short on time before Saturday’s game but he got to do some activities and still remembers everything he got to do before his last visit.

“The parking there was so bad so we didn’t get to anything before,” Norton added. “But the first time I was there I got to go to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and see all the other stuff, so that was pretty cool.”

Nevertheless, Norton and his teammate enjoyed their time in Columbus on Saturday. With the talent each has, don’t be surprised to see them pop back up on campus again over the next few months.

In the meantime, Norton has plans to visit numerous midwest programs with his recruitment picking up after a standout junior campaign.
