When Will TreVeyon Henderson Get More Carries For The Ohio State Offense?

The Ohio State Buckeyes were back on the practice field Tuesday preparing for their first Big Ten home game of the season against the Maryland Terrapins.

Ryan Day and three players, including tight end Mitch Rossi, offensive lineman Nick Petit-Frere, and defensive back Marcus Williamson met with the media on Tuesday to discuss what they learned from the big win at Rutgers, what they’re expecting from Maryland, and more.

Topics included:

  • What Day is most proud of from the first month of the season
  • Is TreVeyon Henderson ahead of where Day expected him to be?
  • When will Henderson start getting more carries?
  • Rossi on his first career touchdown, and being a scholarship player
  • Petit-Frere on the leadership challenge that Day issued to the upperclassmen
  • Williamson on the humility needed to work with younger players, knowing that they could win your job
