Buckeye Weekly Podcast — Biggest Concerns On Offense

In this episode of the Buckeye Weekly podcast, Tony Gerdeman and Tom Orr explore a listener question in more depth by looking at what they each think is the biggest concern for the Buckeyes at every position on offense.

At quarterback, the Buckeyes may have the best player in the nation, but that doesn’t mean they are without concerns. A lack of spring for the backups has stunted their growth, but is that the biggest concern?

The Buckeyes return a number of running backs, but most of them have something in common — injury. They also have another thing in common, which could cause some issues — talent.

At receiver, Ohio State will have some of the most dynamic players in the nation, but how much will they have to rely on the unproven freshmen? And how much can they reply on the unproven senior?

With the Buckeye tight ends, the greatest fear is what are they going to do with all of those catches. Will their hands become so calloused that they will never again feel the softness of a cheesesteak?

The fellas wrap up with the offensive line, which has two jobs up for grabs, and neither of those spots may be the biggest concern.
