Here at Buckeye Scoop, we like to get out on the road and see as many Buckeye targets or commits as possible. And after a busy Monday in southwest Ohio, we spent Tuesday in northeast Ohio another hotbed of Ohio high school football talent.
After having a very busy Monday with five different stops Tuesday was a tad slower as we just ventured to Revere and Streetsboro High School to see two Ohio State commits. As for Streetsboro High School that is, of course, the home of current Ohio State commitment Michael Hall Jr. who has had a meteoric rise to stardom following a standout junior season. Despite the fact that Hall Jr.’s high school team is not yet holding organized workouts he is still getting in work daily to prepare for his senior season. And following that his senior season Hall Jr. will take part in the Under Armour All-American game before arriving in Columbus to begin his college football career.
We talked to Hall Jr. about being a part of this top-ranked 2021 Ohio State recruiting class and how he is doing his part as a recruiter. Along with his rise in the recruiting rankings and how it feels to be recognized. We also discussed how he is handling his training during the pandemic after which he promptly headed to the Streetsboro field to put in more work.
